kerry was upset and al gore upset and mitt romney is just taking a breather and he may not have a big voice within the republican party and he might have a big voice on certain issues in the years to come. >> well, just as a point of information, i think al gore had a different view of the 2000 election but, anyway, let me go back to you, kristen. the gop's response to the election was all over the place but 25% of republicans want their state to succeecede. >> i don't think we're going to have a mass move of states. although i will agree with you, there are competing voices right now within the republican party about where do we go from here. and what the conservative movement might have had on the ticket and it's our turn to have our guy. you have a lot of moderates that say, we're backing extinct in the republican party. i don't know that either of those camps necessarily has it right. i think the problems with the republicans is that they need to talk more about the ideas that make their lives better. i don't think that ultimately you're going to see a lot of states seceding, thou
